About the Event
Edward Earnshaw is one of three NECFC members that are piloting the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), tier 1 of the new Environmental Land Management scheme that aims to replace farming subsidies as we know them. Join Edward for a beer and presentation on the current understanding of how SFI will work, and what it entails.
Edward also helps farmers and landowners navigate Countryside Stewardship applications, thus is well placed to provide an opinion on the RPA and Defra's logic.
It is envisaged to be the first of a series of SFI and wider ELMs events that will help our farmer group decide what is best for their farm businesses and the environment, going forward.
