About the Event
This project is an example of 'Stage 0' implementation, where interventions on the watercourse prompt the flow to find a more natural course. We will visit the relatively low-cost interventions that enabled this work, which result in flood storage, biodiversity increase, carbon capture and improvements in water quality. In the right place, these interventions can generate revenue from natural capital whilst still functioning as part of the agricultural system.
As the cluster prepares to navigate through ELMs, join this event to launch the concept of a group application for a tier 3 (Landscape Recovery) pilot project and what that might involve.
