Mike Pollard of Upper Thames Curlew Recovery has invited farmers to a one-off workshop being organised by the Curlew Recovery Partnership (CRP) - the partnership that brings together all those with an interest in Curlew conservation to help secure the future of one of England’s most iconic and threatened birds.
The workshop’s aim is to pull together farmers’ experiences, challenges, and opportunities in helping Curlew. This will help inform the development of ELMS actions to pay towards farmers’ conservation work to directly benefit Curlew. Workshops are also being run in four other landscapes in England to ensure a wide range of views are gathered.
Refreshments and a light snack will be available, and each participant is offered £50 to cover time and expenses. The event will be facilitated by Ryan Burrell, CRP Director, with support from Mike Pollard, Curlew Recovery Lead for Wild Oxfordshire.
