About the Event

Tim Coates at Dunthrop Farm has kindly offered to host Nigel Adams for a hedgerow workshop and farm walk.  Nigel will present a fascinating and informative talk on hedgerows, their history and management.  This will be followed by a farm walk to look at hedgerows in varying stages of management... the good, the bad and the ugly.  Whether your objectives are farm productivity, wildlife conservation or climate change mitigation - hedges are intrinsic to them all.  Good practical advice from Nigel will help our cluster consider how hedgerows are managed to optimise their value.  Booking details will be available shortly and will include a small fee (for a bacon sandwich) but the CPRE are kindly funding Nigel's consultancy fee for the event.
