About the Event

Measure to Manage: Making Data Drive Profitable and Sustainable Farming in the Real World Got too much data to handle? Want more evidence behind your decision making? Need to speed up identifying issues or areas for improvement?

Led by Ben Thompson (Head of Projects and Business Engagement, Agriculture - Hartpury University and Hartpury College), these workshops are designed to help farmers and agri-businesses build resilience by understanding how data and more specifically different approaches, tools and techniques can help you create and work with measurements to achieve your objectives or overcome consistent challenges. Whether you are a large or smaller scale farming and agriculture business, working with livestock, crops or machinery, this is not to be missed if wanting to see how you can make sense of, maximise and manage your digital resources.

You’ll come away from this workshop with knowledge about:

  • The work of the Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm
  • The importance of data in agriculture
  • How to manage what data you have
  • How to build digital evidence for market advantage
  • Uncover new measures to drive performance
  • Creating a digital action plan for your farm and agri-business
