About the Event
Pasture for Life is running a 2-part day of farm walks, with discussions on managing grazing to improve the health of animals and profitability, as well as deliver biodiversity gains. In peak wildflower season this event will be an opportunity to look at sourcing wild flower meadow seeds and other support for those keen to see more diversity in their sward, or to undertake arable reversion.
This is highly relevant to the Cluster's Windrush Floodplain Meadow project, but of course hugely useful to the Landscape Recovery project work on the Evenlode too. The event prioritises farmers and we encourage Cluster members to attend - those who are interested in dipping their toe in regenerative practices and want to hear from fellow commercial farmers who are further along in the process.
It's going to be a 2 part event (book for one or both halves!), with tea/coffee and a farm walk at Sandy Hill Farm, followed by lunch and a panel discussion and a farm walk at Whittington Lodge Farm in the afternoon. Speakers are Dale Webb, Sara Dusgate, and Geraint Powell, and Ian Boyd will chair the discussion.
Please book via the Pasture for Life Eventbrite link at the RSVP button on this page.
