About the Event
Join us for an evening about floodplain meadows and management of land in the floodplain, with a focus in the Windrush but also including examples and discussion on the Evenlode Valley. We are inviting farmers and landowners in the area to hear about the valuable role of floodplain meadows, where they currently are, where they could be restored, and the various funding streams and initiatives that could be drawn upon locally to support the sustainable farming, management and restoration of these areas for the future. More details to follow but please save the date for what we hope will be an interesting event generating ideas and discussion.
The event is free and a light dinner will be included
RSVP required- please call 01452 383333 or email info@gloucestershirewildlifetrust.co.uk
This event is being put together by a collaboration including our North East Cotswold Farmer Cluster, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG), Cotswolds National Landscape (Glorious Cotswold Grasslands), Floodplain Meadows Partnership, and the National Trust.
