The Regenerative Agriculture Accelerator Programme (RAAP) aims to accelerate and deepen the adoption of regenerative farming practice and agroecological thinking in the Cotswolds, improving soil health, enhancing biodiversity and building resilience. They organise knowledge sharing events for participants throughout the year meeting at least once a month. Core activities include farm walks, workshops, agronomy clinics, conferences and mentoring/advice - hoping to add a study tour in 2027 too.  RAAP is seen as a thematic facilitated cluster group, working with farmers and groups from across the Cotswolds.

If you engage with the programme you will benefit from over 120 hours of free knowledge sharing, get free tickets to Groundswell and subsidised tickets to other regen focused events.  You will also join our growing regen community in the region.

Previous workshops have included time with Gabe Brown, Allen Williams, Tim Parton, Niels Corfield, Carolyn Grindrod, Rob Havard, Ed Horton, Tim Williams, Anna Jones, Chris Clark and Silas Hedley-Lawrence to name a few.

The programme is now looking for 25 farmers, advisers and those that influence the food system in the Cotswolds region to join in cohort 3 starting in May.

Please see Accelerator for more information and the application links. Apply by May 1st

RAAP is funded by the Rothschild Foundation and a Farming in Protected Landscapes grant and is hosted by the Cotswolds National Landscape team.  It is facilitated by local farmer and founder, Jonty Brunyee, and Scott Brown from FutureNature.

The RegenDeep concept (a new knowledge and events hub focusing on regenerative and agroecological farming in the Cotswolds) is also taking shape. You can sign up to the RegenDeep ecosystem on the website.
